What to ExpectDo you believe in the learning potential of the young child? Are you interested in learning new skills and information on early brain development and how it relates to classroom instruction? This might be the right place for you to work. We are a warm, close-knit group of professionals dedicated to a single goal.

Qualifications: A degree in a field related to education or child development. This could include special ed., speech pathology, psychology, or similarly related field of study. Exceptional experience will be considered with an unrelated degree. 

Hours: All of our preschool classes are half-day only. The position is for Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The da Vinci School operates from September through mid-May.

Class sizeWe maintain a very workable teacher/student ratio at The da Vinci School so you have the time to truly get to know each one of your students. The toddlers attend two or three mornings per week. There are five children in the toddler class; six or seven children in the 2 1/2 to three-year-old class. The three-year-olds attend three or five mornings per week. There are eight children in the class at this age level. Our pre-k students attend five mornings per week. Our pre-k class has nine or ten children. Kindergarten is five full days from 8:45a.m. - 2:15p.m. The kindergarten class has a maximum of 14 - 15 children.
