Founding Director

Ms. Mary Ann

I grew up in New Jersey and lived there until I attended college at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. There I pursued my interest in psychology with a special focus on innovative approaches to education.

My passion and primary interest has been the importance of the first six years and the critical role the parent plays as the child’s first and most important teacher.

In 1987, with the help of some wonderful parents, I founded the Texas Foundation for Educational Advancement, Inc. as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the earliest education of young children and their parents.

The organizational objectives include parent education beginning at birth, research into effective early educational techniques and the formation of The da Vinci School with a special curriculum focus on science education.

Assistant Director

Ms. Lindsay

I received my bachelor's of science degree from the University of Texas.  I taught three-year-olds at da Vinci for seven years and am beginning my seventh year as assistant director.

I am a da Vinci alumni parent.

I love the da Vinci School because I get to be with children who are the most honest and genuine people on the planet.  Imagine spending your day looking at the world through the eyes of these precious children who truly love to learn!  Being a part of The da Vinci School “fills my bucket.”
