Ms. Mary Ann
I grew up in New Jersey and lived there until I attended college at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. There I pursued my interest in psychology with a special focus on innovative approaches to education.
My passion and primary interest has been the importance of the first six years and the critical role the parent plays as the child’s first and most important teacher.
In 1987, with the help of some wonderful parents, I founded the Texas Foundation for Educational Advancement, Inc. as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the earliest education of young children and their parents.
The organizational objectives include parent education beginning at birth, research into effective early educational techniques and the formation of The da Vinci School with a special curriculum focus on science education.
