2009/2010 Registration Information and Fees

REGISTRATION
Students are enrolled at The da Vinci School for the period September through May. Since we maintain a low student/teacher ratio, we ask parents to sign a contract guaranteeing tuition for this time frame, so we can be assured of meeting our financial obligations.

Registration Fee
There is an annual registration fee of $300 (only paid by students actually offered placement). The fee is primarily allocated to cover our insurance costs, licensing fees, various permits, and miscellaneous financial variables. The registration fee is a one-time charge each year, which is submitted with your registration form. This is non-refundable unless we are unable to offer placement.

TUITION
Enrollment in The Da Vinci School is for the period September through May. For new enrollees only, after the first 30 days in the school (to assess a child's adjustment to the school environment), a parent is responsible for payment of the tuition for the remaining school year. Tuitions can be paid in monthly installments, bi-annually, or in full. Tuitions pay for staff salaries and overhead. Since we maintain a low student/teacher ratio, we must have a guaranteed income to meet financial obligations. For the 2009/10 school year, the tuition is as follows:

2 mornings per week......$

5 mornings per week......$8118/yr ($902/mo.)

Pre-K (5 mornings per week)......$8595/yr ($955/mo.)*

Kindergarten / primer (5 full days per week)......$10,260/yr...($1,140/mo.)*
8:45 am - 2:15 pm.

* includes weekly computer instruction

OTHER FEES
Consumables Fee
The da Vinci School assesses a one time yearly consumables fee to cover the cost of paper products, healthy snacks, cooking and craft projects, copies, cleaning supplies, etc. This fee is due with the first tuition payment. (or can be paid out). For the 2009/10 school year, the consumable fee is as follows:

Ages 18 months to 5 years
(includes one yearbook per child)

Kindergarten / primer......$645/year
(includes supply box, periodicals and yearbook)

Parent Organization Activities Fee
Paid annually, the fee is $110 per child. This fee covers the costs of family gatherings, the Fall carnival, parent education speakers' fees, pageant costumes, staff gifts, teacher appreciation and outreach. This fee is due with the first tuition payment.
