How Does The da Vinci School Raise Needed Funds?

Da Vinci is committed to providing children with the best early childhood education while keeping tuition costs in check and restraining the frequency in which we ask familes to donate.  To accomplish these goals, request all participate in a limited number of fundraisers.

Annual Fund

This major effort provides needed funding and shows the school's strenght to outside donors.  We need 100% of da Vinci parents’ participation– every gift, regardless of the amount, is welcomed and needed!  We also need the support of our grandparents and alumni families.  The higher percentage of donors, the stronger case we have for outside support.  Finally, we don’t ask you to do anything we aren’t prepared to do ourselves- every teacher and staff member is asked to give every year.

This long-standing da Vinci tradition brings families together on February 6 for an exciting evening dedicated to having fun while raising money needed for da Vinci excellence.  During the fall, we will be seeking donations to be a part of our live auction.  We will also be soliciting sponsorships and ads from da Vinci friends and businesses.   In addition to an exciting live auction, we will also be selling child artwork and photos.

Teacher Gifts

At the beginning of the year, each class room parent will ask all families to contribute $25 towards appreciation for the teacher throughout the year.  By pooling our gift giving among all class parents, we are able to provide the teacher with lovely “Thank Yous” for her birthday and holidays while taking that task off your to do list.

Capital Campaigns

Capital Campaigns occur periodically to raise funds for capital needs.  We are eternally grateful to our families who built our state-of-the-art school with their generosity and perseverance.  They selflessly give to ensure a da Vinci education for future students.  A few naming opportunities are still available.
